Multiplicity

There is something heartening seeing your creations multiply, whether through procreation or consummation through engagement/marriage. You start off creating these beings, and of course it’s a lot of work. It might be more than you anticipated. But you follow through and fight through the bad times, laugh through the good times and hang on through the tough times. Then they leave. Then one day, you walk through the door and instead of 4 kids there are 5.5 kids laughing on your bed. I just love this evolution of life and I love how families grow! Daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren; where will it ultimately lead? My heart is very warm at the start of the holiday season!

Enjoy every minute, my friend! Spent lots of time this holiday weekend with kids and grandkids. Next weekend we are going to New Jersey to see more, the next weekend others will be at our house and the weekend after that we travel to Bellingham to see Jake and Ben! Lots of chaos and lots of love. Feeling very lucky and very blessed.
